Menomonee River
Bank Stabilization
FreshWater led a team of Madison-based small businesses in the design of a bank stabilization on the Menomonee River in Wauwatosa, WI. The badly eroded bank had retreated by 35-50 feet since the mid-1990s. The design produced a stable bank configuration with a protected toe and rootwads located at the downstream end of the project.
